It's a sensible warning. Thinking more along these lines, the thought occurs that the sun will be setting in the West. As you drive the coastal road's twists and turns, there could be major glare. It could be very beautiful, on the one hand, but it's not a road where you should have any visibility impairment. Just something to think about.

Do NOT go on holidays or weekends if you can help it or you will find it too crowded to really enjoy. If possible go during the week and preferably early spring (for the waterfalls) and late fall for the color changes.
