Dear all, sorry if this question has been asked 100 times. I am actively job hunting and have has some good interviews with a company in Brisbane. I have a 16.5 year old who is rather good in school ( she has lots of AP classes and yet still has a 4.12 GPA and 1900 at her SAT scores). She will be a senior next year. What would the options in terms of high school be for her? Many thanks to all

California School Performance Maps

Just kinda depends on what you can afford, there's quite a few towns in San Mateo County with good schools but that raises the price of real estate.

A very strong academic school is Mills High School in Millbrae. But 550K won't do, you'll have to rent.
Very asian culture to the school, dragon boat teams, etc.

There are other good schools on the peninsula - Aragon High School in San Mateo, Burlingame High School in Burlingame.

All three schools are within 1/2 hour drive of Brisbane.

No one specifically mentioned that there is no High School in Brisbane. Brisbane feeds into SSF high schools.

She sounds like an ideal candidate for Lowell High in San Francisco, one of the best public high schools in the United States. I suggest researching this option.

For only 550K the options are:

1) a very small condo
2)a sub par school district
3)a very long commute

Brisbane is the city next to SSF, however Brisbane feeds into the Jefferson High School District (which includes the cities of Daly City, Colma, Brisbane and Pacifica).
