I guess this is a pretty specific post about an intersection that I have passed through 1000's of times since I moved to this area in 1985 so I am not sure I will get an answer but will appreciate it if I get one.

A week ago I was driving from San Ramon on Dougherty Rd. and came up to the intersection with Dublin Blvd. I stopped for the Red Light, checked for traffic and proceeded to turn right onto Dublin from the right lane. A block down Dublin Blvd. a Dublin police car pulled me over and asked me why I was stopped. I said I had no idea and he said that I turned right where there was a sign that said No Right Turn on Red. I have never seen that sign before and certainly didn't see it that morning.

Does anyone know when this sign was installed? I have checked some and don't believe there is another intersection in Dublin with this restriction, even coming from Pleasanton, the other direction there isn't one. Thanks for your reply if you can offer any information.

The sign is present on Google Street View, which indicates that the image was taken in March 2011. It's at least that old.

Thanks for your help with this I really appreciate it. I have gone through that intersection many times since then and don't remember ever seeing it before. I guess I need to be more observant.
