I spend 1 hour on my commute stuck in bumper to bumper traffic , on a route that should take 20 mins off-peak hours. I hate the idling, and braking that goes with maneuvering the traffic. What's your least favorite aspect of commuting to work?

1.People here don't really use the left lane as the passing lane. I've basically trained myself to use the far right lane to pass people half the time, because nobody knows that it's supposed to be the 'slow lane'.

2.On BART, my biggest gripe is people who blast their music from their phone's speakers. Nobody wants to hear the crappy music you listen to sound even crappier in a confined space.

3. Entitled cyclists that ignore stop lights, traffic signs, and deliberately ride outside of the bike lane. You are considered a motorist operating a vehicle, quit acting like a jerk and doing whatever you want.

1/ Clueless drivers. Those driving in rush hour traffic with 15 car lengths in front of them, holding up traffic behind them.
2/ Selfish drivers. Those that impede traffic, by stopping where they want to, oblivious to what's going on around them.

Plenty of these types of drivers in the Bay Area.

Individual drivers who are not a car pool driving in the HOV lane approach to the bridge only to try and cut back over into the adjacent lane at the last second before the toll. They tick the people off who have followed the rules and don't allow them to cut back in. Which in turn backs up the HOV lane as they sit there with their directional on trying to get back over.

100% they don't even get the hints of flashing lights. They are rolling along at 55 in the fast lane. *smh*

Its the ones who are driving 55mph in the fast lane but then speed up when you try to pass them. There is a special place in Hades for them. LOL

Agree with the fast lane comments but also the lack of blinkers and cutting in line. One thing I've been noticing lately is how impatient a lot of people are at 4-way stops and go out of turn, the entrances to BART station parking garages are ridiculous with this. Also people parking so close you can't even get in your driver's side door, unreal how inconsiderate some people are with that.

Texting and/or stoned drivers. Also, taxis and Lyfts that creep along at 2mph looking for their fares.
