Meanwhile, Ammiano is licking his chops, ready to pounce into higher office. Most CA Dems were irritated by Lee for one thing or another, anyway.

Now about his gun control stance - California state Sen. Leland Yee arrested on bribery, arms dealing charges - CBS News

I used to have to work with him and his staff from time-to-time so I feel safe in saying, it couldn't happen to a "nicer" guy!

What nonsense. In the Chinese community, corruption isn't seen as business as usual but often they feel powerless to do anything about it. Fear of retaliation is a reality and often, reports of corruption are ignored by city leaders and law enforcement.

You have no idea what you're talking about, obviously. With thinking like that, part of the problem is obvious too.

This could actually have HUGE ramifications to San Francisco politics. We will still elect Democrats, but there could be a meaningful influx of new faces.

Leland is a self-serving piece of garbage. He is facing a lifetime in prison, basically. He will definitely roll and try to cut a deal and he knows A LOT of the power players and kings makers in San Francisco. Do you honestly, party affiliation aside, think that Rose Pak, Willie Brown, and Phil Ting are not corrupt?

This could cause a lot of dominoes to fall.

This is the third CA Democrat to recently end up like this. It's always nice to see the kind of sleazy criminals who make up our ruling class.
