Do you mean Santa Ynez Valley? If so, then out near Livermore or up near Napa is as close as you'll get. However, both have less of a remote feeling than the Santa Ynez Valley, as there are large residential populations here.

Yes, the Conejo Valley does have some resemblance. Parts of Agoura, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village do, I would say.

Within immediate Bay Area: outer East Bay. Livermore immediately comes to mind. I'm sure the case could be made also for Danville, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, Concord (more south side), and Niles (district in Fremont).
