I live really close to Atherton and I know a lot of the people who live there are rich and well connected. Think spamming them with resumes and a nice letter would work out?

People really dislike getting this sort of stuff at home. I doubt you would find the action to be worth the postage, or even the effort. This sort of action will rub a lot of people the wrong way.

If you "leave letters" yourself, without paying postage and using postal delivery, you are in violation of federal law.

Yes, give that a try and let us know how that works out for you when you get released from jail, assuming you can post bail.

Rich people don't like it when creepy strangers hang around their estates trying to put random crap in their mail. If any of them was ever going to consider you for anything professionally-related, I'm pretty sure this would be a good strategy to be permanently banned from consideration.

I love it when Atherton comes up in the police blotter. Always a riot.

The best of the police blotter, 2013 - San Jose Mercury News

Atherton, Aug. 4: A vehicle was parked on the street for more than an hour on a Sunday afternoon.
Atherton, June 24: A resident reported that things in her home seemed out of place. It was determined that the housekeeper had moved them.
Atherton, June 9: A resident complained about music from a church on a Sunday morning.

It is actually against the law to leave things like this in a mail box. I'd make sure that you at least mail them properly.

Especially with all the ISIS news lately. Doing this will definitely get you a job... making license plates in Gitmo.

If this is the extent of your resourcefulness, then perhaps you better not expose your identity or your credentials to these "rich and well connected" people.

This also reeks of desperation. Just my opinion.

I don't know about Gitmo, San Quentin is nearby here and that's plenty scary enough..
