Pleasant Hill: Camelback road and surrounding areas - How safe? (apartment complexes, crime)

My girlfriend and I are currently looking at a townhouse on camelback Road (North of Chilpancingo Parkway), but are unsure of the overall safety of the development and the surrounding areas.

While looking up the crime data, I noticed that this month there was a robbery at one of the apartment complexes and a sexual assault on the road not far from where we are looking to buy. When I go back in history, this doesn't seem to be a trend, but it still makes me very wary of living there. I just want to make sure that if my girlfriend is at the house, out walking, picking up groceries, at the mall, etc. that she is completely safe. Any information is helpful and greatly appreciated!!

The area is generally pretty safe. I've heard about a few recent incidents but overall those don't tend to be common at all from my experience. I've lived in that area and have friends that live in the area for a few years now, feels very safe imo.

Thank you for the quick response! We are currently cross shopping with livermore (which I am much more familiar with) and were trying to figure out how it compared to there or other nice east bay areas (dublin, pleasanton, etc)
