I didn't know there were any 16 - 17 - year-olds left in San Francisco. (*coughs*).

But, apparently, given the extraordinary logic and analytical acumen of your average adolescent, they are potentially a group that might destroy the evil empire the right has poised to retake the city. (*coughs again*)

The U.S. Census Bureau reported in 2013 that approximately 8,400 people ages 15 to 17 live in San Francisco, giving no breakdown for 16- and 17-year-olds.

18-22 year olds are idiots, why would we extend that to 16 and 17 year olds too?

History shows us that we're idiots basically from about age 10 or 11 on up to our 90's. So I'm not sure why it's a good idea to let anybody vote except little kids and post octogenarians.

Their should only be one age delineation for everything, vote, draft, smoke, drink and own guns. 18 is fine, I would be fine with 16 as well.

The 90 year olds would even be able to see the ballot. Might as well just randomly select someone.

In other words: not much of a change from present

The voting age was lowered to 18 due to kids getting drafted for Vietnam, but having no voting power.

Lowering it further makes no sense.

Now people look for a d or r and vote accordingly.

I wish they would remove party from the ballot all together. Then the real fun starts.
