Los Gatos is similar to Danville IMHO (at 2x the cost). Traffic is awful in the Silicon Valley as well. Not sure if that's an advantage unless the job is in San Jose.

Los gatos or Danville? Where will you/your spouse be working? If it's near Los gatos, you probably don't want to live in Danville.

He will be working from home. My DD does go to Russian Math School (RMS) here in MA, but we thought we can take her on the weekends for class. There are RSM in San Jose, San Matheo and Sunnyvale.

If you insist on having your kid go to RMS, then Los Gatos is the better choice. The traffic from Danville to all three of those cities is disgusting and not worth it.
Personally, I find cram school to be utterly pointless in the United States and a waste of money, considering that elementary through high school are no where near as competitive as in East Asia. Just do like a 2-3 day prep for SAT and some extra-curricular activities when your kid gets to high school.
