Family of 4 - which is better? Taxi or shuttle van. From SF airport to Union Square area.

I think the question is...why are you asking? In other words, what's your motivation? Is it a cost concern? Are you looking for a luxury ride? What? They'll both get you where you need to go. You say which is better. Better in what way?

They're safe. My husband and I take both often and the only issue I've ever had was one guy's car smelled like cigarette smoke (not that big of a problem). Lyft is supposedly better to their employees, so we've been using that service more as of late.

Have you not heard of these services before? I find cab drivers scary sometimes with the way they drive since they're not driving their own cars.

Also, before those services, I used to take my whole family to/from the airport via shuttle van (not the kind that are owned/operated by the hotels). Oftentimes, there were multiple stops so it took SO LONG to drop everybody else off...sometimes we'd cut it close getting to our flight on time.

Good questions to consider. I have used Five Emerald Limousine before and I would use them again if I was flying out of SFO with a lot of luggage.

This.

Did it myself not long ago. Arrived just fine.

Taxis and limo services from the Airport are extremely overpriced.
