I would like some feedback on how it would be like living in one of near one of the Archstone's complexes near the apt. I telecommute so I will have to be home all day plus I'm supposed to work in a noise free environment so people think I'm at an office.

Should I avoid these places? I have read reviews of some hotels on Treat Blvd. and people say they could not sleep because of the Bart so I'm not sure if I shoould stay away or not.

Archstone is pretty shady, not to mention overpriced, so I'd avoid that. The best luck I have is usually with smaller apartment complexes that advertise on Craigslist. Go touch the property, observe your surroundings, and don't just jump for the first one you see because you think you might get caught out.
