Some areas will not be fully counted/certified for another week or two...

Media said too many vote by mail ballots to count.

It's rather common in CA for middle class cities to have mediocre schools unfortunately. And the parts of the Concord that are more upper middle class have better schools for the most part. Nobody said it was upscale overall either.

Only a complete moron would think neighborhoods like this are "ghetto:

LOL Brentwood schools are mediocre. Concord schools are awful. Most Concord neighborhoods are not upper middle class. Not by along shot, it's just another over priced shabby bay area burb. Like Hayward but with a longer commute.

Nobody said or suggested they were, you just have reading comprehension issues clearly.

Most schools in Brentwood are ranked 8-9 out of 10, hardly "mediocre".

People in west CoCo were not pro Trump.
For perspective, Hillary Clinton took 68% of the vote in Contra Costa county, which is a supermajority, just less so than other central Bay Area counties.

The SF neighborhood that Trump did the best in was Parkmerced, although he did poorly everywhere in The City and did not win a single precinct. There were Trump precincts in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.

Based on that number and % it wasn't just Dems voting for Clinton. And I do resemble that remark!

A lot of the Doctors I work with are Republican and vote Democrat...

They said funding for social services suffers when Republicans are in charge.

It use to be different when the Bay Area had a large Defense Industry... remember hearing the adults talk how the Republicans are strong on defense so they would vote that way.

I guess I would best describe myself as a Libertarian... but if I were to only look at job security it would be Democrat... each new Air, Water, Waste regulation, law, etc. is job security...

It does get kind of crazy when there are multiple governmental agencies with overlapping jurisdiction... I use to be surprised when one agency didn't have a clue as to what their counterparts do...

Again, job security... but the engineer side of me still has a problem seeing the waste or resources and the difference is stark in my 25 year tenure without regard to cost... and many wonder why hospital costs continue to rise.

It also used to be different back when most Republicans stood for Western Republican Democratic Exceptionalism and against Eastern Totalitarianism.

Now, sadly, there are a bunch of Putin fan boys polluting the ranks.
