You have no problem with me taking up residence in your fine city. I read all these posts though wondering what all the fuss was about. I like to post in other areas mainly as a way to ask questions of those areas. The only experience that I have with the Bay area is a single visit back in 1981. Thought San Francisco was an awesome place back then and still think it is now. As far as living there? You have out priced me, your too far North, too close together. For me it is more a destination than a living arrangement.

Thinking about it though I am not in the demographic of the original question anyway. I have never lived there and did not move away and come back by way of CDF to complain.

Some of the interesting things I found were that you have such a high level of college educated people within the city. That is awesome. I am thinking many are like minded individuals. Maybe that works for all of you. For me though I am wondering how it is that few Conservatives have been able to make it in the City. My thoughts are toward being within an area that seems to be accepting of all people. My only thought would be does that include Conservatives.

Well, 9.23% of voters in SF went for Trump, so while they are in the minority, there are some conservatives there.

Trump was a vote for the anti-establishment, not Conservative values.

Correct. The irony includes that Chump is extreme monied, entitled 'establishment' himself, and has so far enlisted the help of and served no one but 'establishment.' 9.23% of San Franciscans who voted for him take note.

The anti-establishment comes more from he doesnt sugar coat everything he says, doesn't care about being politically correct, isnt afraid to tell NATO they are being supported by American tax payers etc. Trump is an elite, but he isnt an establishment elite.

"Doesn't sugar coat?" He doesnt think at all about what he says. Dumb as a box of hammers. How does that address being productively "anti-establishment?" He is causing more trouble than the establishment. Mentally and emotionally disordered isn't "anti-establishment." America is now the laughing stock of the world ... and California's near total rejection of the fool is to our credit in the mix.

We aren't talking about whether he is doing well or not. We are talking about establishment politicians and Trump is nothing like the establishment. You are now going off course lol.

"Off course?" Nothing is "off course" when speaking of Chump. He is entirely "off course" in every respect - therefore no observations of him can be any further "off course."

As for talking about "how he's doing," that relates entirely to the aspect of this topic that related to people feeling ostracized in the Bay Area for their political positions. Anyone who belongs in a political minority of under 10%, voting for a deranged moron, then complaining of intolerance - need only look at how their charismatic god is doing to see how well founded their sense of insult is.

(Lol)

It's not about whether he's PC or not. It's about him blurting out classified information to foreign dignitaries, having no clue about diplomacy, even shoving a foreign leader out of the way so he can hog the spotlight when a group photo is taken, and other crude bumbling. He's clearly in over his head, he even said so himself--that he didn't think the job would be so difficult. One wonders at what point he'll decide it's all just too much (not to mention the charges of obstruction of justice), and might decide to resign. Not that that would solve anything....
