Interestingly, the really bad time for crime on public transit in the Bay Area was 4 - 5 years ago. It's gone down overall. But it could be better yet.

They should sue and it's a whiny excuse to say they are suing "residents" when those same people probably pay those BART taxes too. I agree, hit them where it hurts until they are forced to take action when any level of criminal activity takes place.

You need to get a grip if that is the reason why you won't use public transit. There have been armed car hijackings too, more frequently than BART robberies. Perhaps you should just stay in your house/bubble.
