CA is a lost cause politically unless the illegals are kicked out.

That's why the Democrats are so intent on having them here, and on importing foreigners into the state, because they have found the winning strategy of bribing them with our money.

CA doesn't need a Tea Party. It needs to be disciplined by the Federal government and have its underclass of special interest foreigners confiscated.

And it would be great, if in order to prevent this malignancy from returning, it would break up into more than one state.

But none of these remedies are likely to be implemented, even partially...thus, lost cause.

These guys are part of the wing of the California GOP who bear a good deal to do with its decided minority fate, who reflect its image as the party of white males living in rural areas and small towns, in a state in which the majority is not white, not male, and not rural. No doubt these guys would quickly become the dominant political force in Jefferson, but in California right now they won't make much of an impact.
Basically, these folks would be doubling down on Pete Wilson's gambit and look where that took the California GOP since then.
