that people complain about SF weather!

Blizzards, hurricanes, tornadoes, even freezing rain -- all are unknown here. Traces of snow are seen maybe once or twice a decade. Temperatures are nearly always moderate. Humidity isn't bad. How many other places in the US can claim all those qualities?

I'm planning to move, but to go to a less crowded and less expensive community. I know I'll never live in a place with better weather than SF!

For someone used to a sunnier climate. the western neighborhoods of SF might not be to their liking.

It's cool and breezy, with some fog. I love it. If you think the only decent weather is what they have in Los Angeles, move to the East Bay, preferably east of the Caldecott Tunnel.

Almost $2000 for 350 square feet is wild. Wow. Glad I'm not in SF any more.

Last snowfall event in the City was actually in Feb 1976. The highest Bay Area mountain tops do get a dusting usually once a year, but our family hasn't seen snow in the inland East Bay in the past forty years either. The climate is certainly benign and boring, but SF lacks a lot of really warm days.

If you can't stand fog and want a quiet area, San Francisco isn't going to be your best fit. Once your lease is up, you'll be much happier living in the warmer East Bay. Consider the areas by the Rockridge and North Berkeley stations, and around Lake Merrit.
