Default First Vallejo...Now Hayward

Before I posted a thread about thinking about moving to Vallejo. Now I decided to change my mind and move to Hayward. I am thinking about the Tennyson area at South Hayward (right side of I-880). What do you think about it?

Probably one of the worst parts of Hayward.

Since your handle is "afraidofghettos," you certainly do NOT want to live in that part of Hayward. It's not only ugly but has a lot of crime.

If you live in Hayward, you want to be in the hills around Hayward Blvd or East Ave, or if your budget doesn't permit that, at least east of Mission Blvd. Castro Valley if you can swing it.

Given your moniker, I wouldn't move to Tennyson...long been the poorest section of Hayward. Yes I agree with sonarrat I used to live by East Ave close to Cal State-Hayward, that's a nice, affordable area.

I think this post is not real..I think they're joking. Everyone in the Bay Area knows Tennyson has been the hood since the 80's.
