Makes sense to me, one of the reasons I moved out was because other than my small network of friends, which even them are guilty of this to a degree... is that all everyone talks about his their careers and everything seems to be about networking socially with the core reason being to advance their careers. That's the impression I felt anyways. It's like, "hey whats your name?" -"HI my name is Mike and I'm working to release my new app TRINDER, it's like grinder, but for trans people"
