I don't want to be too specific, but generally speaking it was said to be racist and also something sexually aggressive . to add some background , the team is very close and all of which say things that are out of line, I even have text messages of things said to me now that I have looked back to see, but I cannot think of anything I could have said that would be so much to separate itself from being standard office banter. regardless it has escalated to investigation and interviews , but still no one has contacted me and for all they know I still have no idea.

There is just a general process, I would imagine. I’ve never been in a situation like this, so don’t really know.

Gathering thoughts/knowledge during the interviews you speak of. Seeing if anyone else says you have been out of line, etc... Keep your texts as well just in case. And definitely don’t contact anyone directly involved.

Regardless, once something like this goes down you are probably best served by changing jobs. The environment may be more or less poisoned for you. If possible, see if you can leave in exchange for a letter of recommendation, some severance, and dropping the investigation (would probably happen anyway). Though, do not admit to fault. The company may be amenable to this.
