A big fat NO on that one.

Quote:
SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) — A Bay Area professor is now in the middle of the Russia controversy. The government of President Vladimir Putin is looking to question Michael McFaul, a Stanford University professor who is also a former U.S. ambassador to Russia.

“Vladimir Putin doesn’t like me. He doesn’t like what I write about him. He doesn’t like what I say about him,” said McFaul. “This is an act of intimidation against me.”

After Trump and Putin’s one-on-one meeting earlier this week in Helsinki, Putin’s words came as no surprise. But it was the president’s public response that surprised and disappointed McFaul...

What was the Trump's response to that request? I didn't see it in the article.

It's not enough to censor their own citizens; now they want to censor ours. Of course, this is ridiculous; Russia would never turn over one of their academics or former ambassadors to the US for questioning. Nonsense.

So...I'm just wondering. Is everyone over the illusion that the Cold War ended in 1990/91? I hope so.

In Helsinki, Trump said it was 'an incredible offer' by Putin. He is stuck in a Tom Clancy novel.

WHAT?????!!!!!!.

So. If there was any doubt in P's mind before, our Prez has just confirmed that he's an idiot.

This is dangerous. Where is Condi, when you need her? Madeleine Albright? Anyone?? Oh, that's right; Trumpty-Dumpty slashed the State Department's budget. Who needs diplomats? Let's throw them under the bus! And save a few bucks (for our needy 1%-ers) while we're at it!

The $50,000 Question: Is such stupidity treasonous? Can someone be impeached for extreme and reckless cluelessness? You know, like reckless endangerment? For most people, it's a crime...

I'm sure the Finns were appalled, and are very worried. You know...being that they're on Russia's border, and have had repeated border violations of their airspace by Russia in the recent past, in response to American diplomatic actions...

Thank heaven for checks and balances! Let's hope that aspect of our governmental structure lasts. Now that the Supremes will soon be disinclined to provide a check or balance....

No kidding, idiot thought it was a good idea and then went back on it. The whole "would" and "wouldn't" fiasco. Embarrassing at this point. If the govt wanted to send me to Russia to be interviewed, I'd be on the first plane out of here to a country that won't extradite me. Roman Polanski Part 2.

“At this point”? Chump was embarrassing when he was in preschool. What’s embarrassing is how long it’s taking for some people to notice ...
