Mosquito problem in Antioch? (Concord, Pittsburg: house, neighborhoods, to live in)

There is a lot of water north of Antioch, can't tell if those are rivers of stagnant water.
What is the mosquito situation in Antioch? How about other bugs?
I am specifically interested in the area south of FWY 4, where FWY 16 branches off.

I could give you a long list of reasons not to live in Antioch, but mosquitoes coming from the Dow Wetlands isn’t one of them. There are mosquitoes in Northern California like everywhere else but it’s not oppressively bad like they are in Florida in the summer, and most mosquito borne illnesses like malaria, yellow fever, zika or dengue are non-existent in California and West Nile virus is really rare.

Why Antioch though? If you want to be in that part of the East Bay there are much nicer places like Martinez, Brentwood and some neighborhoods in Concord. Frankly Antioch and Pittsburg are pretty unsafe and sketchy. You’re more likely to get your car stolen or the side of your house tagged over there then you’re likely to get anything more than a very mild annoyance from mosquitoes which can be solved with window screens and a zapper.
