You're right. I should settle where I am happiest.
It's just common sense in this day and age for a woman to take precautions when meeting guys. However, it sounds to me that you are more focused on finding reasons to reject a guy than finding reasons to like him. You'll have a hard time meeting the right guy if that is your inclination.

Your interpretation of my question is wrong.

I was simply wondering which city would give me better odds of finding someone special.

I know that not everyone in SJ is going to be totally into video games, but some places have a higher concentration of certain types of people due to their industry focus, etc.

I am not finding reasons to reject someone.

For someone who is telling me not to prejudge, you seem to be quick to jump to conclusions yourself.

If something is unclear to you, then just ask, don't presume that your assumption is right.

True, I am drawing a conclusion based on what you have said in this and other threads, but IMHO, I think it's more reasonable than attempting to make an inference about a group of people in a geographic area based on some sort of stereotype.

Look, despite what you might think, I'm not looking to bash you. I just think that it would be more fruitful for you if you ignored the stereotypes and just went and checked it out for yourself. There are a lot of fish in these two oceans - there surely must be some that are the kind of guys for whom you are looking.

And I really appreciate your advice. I just don't appreciate people making wrong conclusions about me.

And it's not as if the stereotypes are completely untrue.

There is a higher concentration of techies who happen to be crazy about gaming in SJ than in other places.

Anyway, thank you. I really do appreciate your advice and I will take it to heart.
