My family and I are planning to move from the Denver, Colorado area soon. I have an interview for an awesome job at USF and I am hoping and praying this is the job for me. My husband is still aggressively looking for a job in the area. He is an educated IT guy so I am sure something will come his way. My question is this. Could someone help us with some good areas to live in. We have two kids--ages 3 and 1 so we will need child care and good schools soon. We are planning to rent a place we just need an idea of what area of the city is the best for families with small children.

Thank you all in advance for you help!!!

I would live in the suburbs rather than San Francisco itself. The schools in SF leave a lot to be desired.
