Google has just gone live with a new addition to their Live Traffic service. You can access it on maps.google.com, type in your location and then click on the Traffic button. New highways added to the service in the San Francisco area include:

Hwy 1/19th Ave (San Francisco)
Hwy 1 (Pacifica to Pescadero)
Hwy 1 (Sausalito to Inverness)
Hwy 4 (Brentwood to Stockton and beyond)
Hwy 101/Van Ness/Lombard/Doyle Drive (San Francisco)
Hwy 35/Skyline Blvd (San Francisco to Santa Cruz)
Hwy 92 (Half Moon Bay to San Mateo)
Hwy 92/Jackson St (Hayward)
Hwy 84/Woodside Rd/La Honda Rd (San Gregorio to Redwood City)
Hwy 84/Bayfront Expwy (Marsh Rd. and Willow Rd. approaches to Dumbarton Bridge)
Hwy 84/Thornton Rd/Peralta Blvd/Niles Canyon Rd (Fremont to Livermore)
Stanley Blvd/First St (Livermore)
Hwy 123/San Pablo Ave (Oakland to Richmond)
Hwy 238/Mission Blvd/Foothill Blvd (Fremont to Castro Valley)
Tibuon Blvd (Mill Valley to Belvedere)

It's going to be great having visibility to all these major connector roads.

They also added the transit lines.

I don't know when they did this, but now if you click on a Caltrain, BART or Muni Metro station the lines show up, for all 3 of them, it also happens if you click on the more button and click on transit. You can click on the station and ask to get directions to it, but it defaults to driving directions, you have to click on the "Public Transit" link in order to have it give you transit directions. That last feature was already there, but it is nice to see the lines too, not just the stations.
