No one was "kicked out". San Francisco has priced them out.
Why is it that every post you put on this website is so hostile? You do realize that's what he was insinuating, right? Can't we all just get along?

Can't argue with you there. The new housing development has been almost exclusively built for upper income singles and empty nesters.

I went to look at the Ellington by Jack London. Prices are completely ridiculous HOA's $700. I hope they do not sell any of those. Single Family home prices for a tiny condo.

Affordable housing in San Francisco = infeasible

The excessive regulatory climate in the city prevents "affordable housing" from being built.

He made a comment I felt was inaccurate. Much of the stuff folks say on here is counter to common sense. No hard feelings or anything. People just need to face reality.

Greed prevents affordable housing from being built.

This guy here. Do you think people, especially city officials can go around saying, hey we're going to evict you all today, pack your bags and go. Do you not have common sense or something? There are ways to drive out an unwanted population without doing it blatantly. Only an idiot can't see it.

Why is affordable housing available anywhere if not for so called "greed"?

Rich people want your money, and if it were feasible and profitable to do so they would build affordable housing. This is not currently possible in Sf.

You're clueless. Most cities have to build a certain amount of affordable housing for residents that has nothing to do with being greedy. It has to do with law.

Let me ask you this question: If "most cities" have specific laws outlining a certain amount of "affordable housing" to be built, why does San Francisco seem to have a lack of said "affordable housing" as mandated by law?
