I am in my late 20s and just received a tentative job offer in Napa. I was wondering if someone could tell me a bit about the city and the area. Is there much to do outdoors (swimming, hiking, biking, camping)? If I accept the offer, where is a good place in the city to live? What are rental prices like? What are some of the pros and cons of living there? I have read on this forum that it is not too exciting of a place, but what is there for young people?

I wasn't a huge fan of living in Napa myself...and there is really not that much to do. Yes, there are plenty of outdoors opportunities, and it has a fine farmer's market and lots of local foodie stuff (really that's its strength).
