Hello guys!

I was wondering if anyone has done the Master in Taxation program at GGU? I am interested in the program and would love to hear your experience! =]

I am curious as to what you can do with a Master in Taxation from GGU and what sort of jobs you can expect find after completion. I read the description on GGU's website and notice that there is a 3 months internship period for the full-time tax program; how does this it work?

Sorry if I sound a bit naive. I really do not know much about this program and if you can help me with any information, I am a happy man. =]

Thank you for your help and for sharing! Have a great day guys.

Mugen

It's their most reputable program...in fact it's one of the best taxation programs in the area. I know because I wanted to do their Masters in Accountancy program so I researched the school a bit.

A lot of alumni from GGU's MST program are in big 4 accounting firms.

unfortunately...I was unable to find much info on their masters in accounting program, which was the one I am really interested in. Weird how their tax accounting program is so much more reputable than their general accounting program.

Hey PSBlows,

Thanks for replying. I found your information very helpful.

How can you tell that GGU's master in taxation is the most reputable program?

I'm a master's in tax, but tax law. I work with plenty of MsT's though, in Big 4 or other accounting/consulting firms. Contact the admissions office or recruiting office and see if they can put you in touch with some recent alums and find out where they are working.

Good undergraduate grades and good performance in your MsT will be key though.

Did you go to undergraduate locally? If you are an accounting undergrad, there must be other alums you are working locally that would know the reputation the MsT programs.

I think you really should do some additional research prior to spending $$ on a masters program.
