but remember, many casinos are in high crime areas. Atlantic City, NJ, downtown Vegas and downtown Reno for starters.

It seems the Richmond PD can't handle the current crime in their city. Now they want to add a place where people will be coming and going with a lot of cash in their pockets? It seems that a lot of the people who go to these type of casinos are older. Can you make it any easier for the criminals?

If you are ever lucky enough to make a big hit in a casino, you can ask for an escort to your car. Most Casino's also have cameras in all of their parking lots. The biggest defense you have against crooks is to use common sense. Park in a well lighted area and do not let the whole world know that you are carrying a bunch of cash. You can also have the casino pay you by check. You are more likely to encounter trouble on your way in because most crooks know that you are much more likely to have less money on your way out. In general, casinos are actually pretty safe because they wants to get you inside with your wallet intact and they want you to have a good experience so you will return. They spend a good deal of money to keep you safe even in bad areas.

Oh My goodness! We went in there once. The smoke was so strong my eyes were burning. Its like they didnt have any ventilation! It was horrible. We stayed in there for an hour and when I got home my husband asked me had I been smoking because I reeked of cigarette smoke. I will never go there again!
