Most of the outlets are branded as "Premium Outlets" now and don't have very good deals.. on the other hand, I've had good luck with Ross most of the time, and they're basically an outlet store anyway.

For deals, check out Macy's or any other large-scale department store. Every week they are advertising clearance sales and have coupons in the newspaper for additional discounts. I generally find Outlet Malls to be a waste of time if you are looking for deals on "first run" clothing. That said, I am intrigued by the Gucci outlet opening in Vacaville. I've been to the one at Woodbury Commons in NY and found some great "past season" close-out clothing.

"Premium Outlets" is the name. They are owned by the Chelsea Group which is a division of the Simon Company. They've got almost 50 of them across the country.
Insert town name + Premium Outlet....that's all the same company.

I just went to the website -- are they on CRACK? 2000 bucks for an ugly purse with a ZIPPER? Purse technology has come WAY farther past zippers. I REALLY hate zippers in purses and wallets. I am SO opininated on this subject I tried to find classes to teach me to make my own purses.

I bought a Lodi's purse four years ago -- small clutch wallet on a string type. (I do not carry large heavy purses -- not gonna happen.) Paid a whopping 135 bucks for it -- and I LOVE it still. Carry it every day.

Carried the previous old Buxton wallet on a string purse for 16 years....

Did I mention I was CHEAP? The less I spend on purses the more money I have for fabric!

You sound a lot like my mom-she's very wise.

My sisters and I have purchased her all sorts of ridiculously expensive handbags that gather dust in her closet. Sooner or later we see my 17 yr old sister using them.

Our mother is attached dearly to Jaqueline Smith purses from K-Mart. LOL
