Could you recommend a city that has weather similar to SF but is cheaper and has decent amount of jobs?

If you are looking for a minimum wage service job, you don't need to move to the second most expensive city in the United States lol. You might want to look into Texas such as Houston or Austin.

so it seems SF is probably not that much more expensive than other places, when you rent a room with roommates, and consider how much having a car or air conditioning costs in other places which you won't need in SF.

I don't know where you're living now but it would be much better if you stayed where you are than moving to SF, listen to the other posters. By the way where are you living now? Just curious...............
