Harbaugh played more recently than any of those others guy (most of whom never did) and would be coming from the same conference as Carroll. That's something to consider.

Same here. The last few coaching selections have been forgettable to say the least. I really thought he was going to turn this thing around. Clearly I was bamboozled like the rest.
These are darkest days right now for me as a Niner fan since I became a fan in 83. At least that's how I feel at the moment.

I don't think Singletary will be gone. What about Holgrem? Singletary did turn the team around.

He went 5-4 then 8-8.

Troy Smith is now our starter.

The darker days were after Garcia, Owens and Mariucci left.

You can't be that clueless can you? Holmgren is the GM for Cleveland. The 49ers turned nothing around they are 1-6 and still have not made the post season since 2002. They suck. Turning the team around is making the play offs and better.

Season is not over yet and we are only 3 wins behind Seattle who are in 1st place. By the way, Troy Smith is our starting QB now. I am excited!

Im a lot like you. I only used to watch sports cause my partner was in love with Soccer, Baseball, Football, Basketball and so on. LOL

I would rather flip channels and watch some reality show where over-the-top, no-name divas fight about gossip and heresay.

But tonite I decided to root for the home team.
