Raiders have very few fans. Their stadium is usually empty.

My hubby is a fan, we watch the game the other night and I helped cheer on the 9ers. My hubby is Young fan. He is old school, but still supports his team. It's nice when the 9ers play against my fav team the Cowboys. I have been a loyal fan of the boys since the 80's. We went to their (boys & 9ers) pre-season game at "Jerry's World" Cowboys Stadium funny thing was we have club seats and he was the only one in red & gold...but it's all fun. The 9ers did well Monday night. We are proud.

The rivelry is not the same as it was in the 80's and 90's. Maybe it will return. 49ers and Cowboys should play 1 regular season game every year.

I don't think the Cowboys will make the playoffs this year.

Default Fan since the 60's

I go way back to the old 49er Faithful years of John Brodie, Ken Willard and Gene Washington-the "pre Candlestick" days of Kezar Stadium in Golden Gate Park.

There were a number of disaapointing seasons back then-none worse than one in the 70's when we suffered a heartbreaking playoff loss to the Cowboys-I think Roger Staubach was the QB for Dallas at the time. It was avenging that defeat that made "The Catch" so sweet when it occured many years later.

We also beat Cowboys again in the Title game and went on to win the SB in 1994/95 season. This was probably the best season 49ers have ever had in franchise history.

I'm a new 49er fan, only because my sister recently started working for them... she's in an executive position, so I get free tickets (sometimes owner suite) to any game I want. Hard NOT to be a fan when you have that hook-up, not to mention I live close enough to see the stadium from my house. Still getting to know who's who and what's what, but so far I'm a Vernon Davis fan - mostly because he's gorgeous, LOL. I'm such a girl when it comes to football!! Anyway, I look forward to learning more about the game & players, so I will try to follow this thread.

GO NINERS!!!

I don't know if she "reports" to York directly, but she does work closely with him... I had the pleasure of meeting him at an event, and he seems like a really sweet guy!
