I like the weather here, definitely. Maybe not today (or the next few days), but for me an average temp of 50-70 all year round is ideal.

i dont like SF's weather that much. the east bay has better weather to me. i like it really hot in the summer and the east bay offers that. i like rainy/cool winters too, and the east bay also offers this.

Personally I live in the East Bay and i can't stand Bay Area weather, but that is a personal preference, I like it warm and sunny around the clock, and by warm i mean 80s+

That's not really true, it gets cool and rainy in winter, just not quite as cool and rainy as the Bay Area. There is some seasonal variation overall.

I'm not sure there's anywhere in the world where it's sunny 24 hours a day!

Just kidding....but if you would like it to be warm 12 months a year, you should move to Florida or somewhere near the equator like Central or South America or South East Asia.

Really? Wow. I was up there from the 21st through the 24th and flew out Christmas morning. Was sunny the entire time! Maybe I brought the sun from L.A. with me and then took it home? lol

I ten to disagree. To me summer is swimming outside or shooting 4th of July fireworks without having to wear a jacket or worry about a fog advisory. And would prefer a Florida or Hawaii type winter (or even a SoCal winter) over San Francisco or Northern California winter, but hey, that's just me.

Why? Because it never gets so cold that you have to worry about freezing to death and it also does not have the heat + smog of Los Angeles. In fact 90 degree days are pretty rare in SF aren't they? I have visited two times both in the spring and it was great weather!! I just checked the current forecast for SF now and IMO, clouds, cool weather + high humidity is about as lovely as it gets. 55F and 78% humidity would be great for my sinuses because my allergies wouldn't be aggravated. Anyhow, how many of you think SF weather can't be beat?
At the regional level the Bay Area does not have weather all that different from LA.

It's a tad wetter and colder in winter, and, the marine layer during the dry season is a bit cooler than it is down south. Also, with our N-S mountain orientation the winds in our fog gaps are higher than those of LA. But this is hairsplitting, both are examples of the Mediterranean climate type.

You could generalize your statement as "The Mediterranean Climate is the best."
