Yeah you have no idea what you're talking about and I see what you're doing trying to link this with Obama. The Nazi Party was not Socialism. The Nazi Party was a Fascist party which is a part of the political right. Please go get an education somewhere.

You are really going to hold on to the dream people will never shop at PetSmart, go to a Kobe's steak house, rent from U-Haul and not attend an all star game? DO your really think the spring training camps will be moved? Are you aware the vast majority of Americans support what AZ is trying to do? Obviously your mind is so closed you can't see in front of your face. Hopeing for something is one thing, beleiving it will happen is another. No, the majority of the people will not boycott these companies at all.

BTW, I never said no one would boycott, there will always be a few and I see you made a referance to what damost just posted, I don't believe anyone said Ca was the only state with illegals, we have them here as a matter of fact, but nothing like California, not even NM could keep up with your state..

You seem to conveniently forget that a boycott of Arizona is not just a California thing. Every day another major American city joins the call for a boycott [Boston, the Denver school board, St Paul-Minneapolis, Santa Fe] and many others are considering a boycott [New York for example]. No disrespect because you are a former Californian from my hometown of Pasadena but your arguments lack evidence. It helps to do a little reading before posting [I know because I have been confronted for not doing my homework and posting inaccurate info in the past]. The governor of Arizona is pleading with professional sports to not take the All Star game away from Arizona like it did in 1993 by moving the Super Bowl from Phoenix to Los Angeles. Last night the Phoenix Suns protested the law by wearing "Los Suns" in its uniforms and publicly condemned Arizona [during the NBA playoffs].

If you think a boycott is silly you are mistaken and in no way reflect the concern of Arizona businesses. Bottom line is $ and if Arizona loses revenue due to this law then it will have to pay for being stupid. You seem to defend stupid alot.

but what you are forgetting, it isn't the residents that are asking for boycotts, it is the government officials. Do I think the boycott is silly? Yes, in some ways, not all, do I think it will hold any water, not for long, if at all. What you are forgetting, the majority of the citizens throughout the country that have stated thier opinions think AZ is doing the right thing.

I have been saying for a few days, I think the action AZ is taking is more in protest against our federal government for doing nothing!!! Let me also add, I think AZ might be going a little too far, but something has to be done.

What don't you get that it doesn't matter "Who is asking" it's who is DOING it. Who cares what some officials are asking for? The people are already informed. Please believe it's the people that hurt the businesses and it will be the people who are going to end up boycotting. You must be crazy if you think businesses are not scared. Arizona Ice Tea had to come out to let it be known they are based in New York not Arizona. In this economy any loss business hurts.

Unless you are a legit business and you lost business to illegals that undercut prices.

The thing about most Dems is they have never actually run a business since most of them don't like to work. At the end of the day when it comes to business most Dems don't have a clue.

Ok I can play that too, most republicans are racists, most republicans are poor sheep that follow a few rich republicans who lead them to believe they can be rich too. Even though most rich republicans got that way from inheriting their money from their rich daddy's.

See easy.

That actually sounds like most Democrats. It is the Dems that are living in ghettos while a handful of wealthy Dems live in gated compounds to keep out the lower class Dems.

PS. It was Harry Reid and Joe biden that made racist remarks about Obama.

and you don't get it, the people will not boycott, or few will. I think I get it a little better than you do. It is not the people who will boycott. the only part you have right is "who cares who is asking for it?"

I will add, most Republicans are less biggoted than liberals (I didn't say all Democrats cause I prefer not to lump good ones with less informed ones) I might also add we do not follow any one person or idea..Who would be that rich Republican that told us we could be rich also? I sure missed out on that one.

No offense but I've seen many of your posts and you're just not very bright. If you honestly believe the republicans are less bigoted than anybody you clearly have no clue about the political spectrum. The further right you go the closer you get to white surprimacy, Facsism & Adolf Hitler. Also don't try the Abe Lincoln thing either. Republicans and Democrats switched during the civil rights era.

May I clear up a few things for you: 1-I am not very far to the right, I am slightly to the right of middle, I happen to be very bright and my husband which I don't usually bring up, worked in 2 administrations as an appointee, I probably know more about politics than you ever could know.

Who mentioned Lincoln and why is that even an issue? I did ask you what rich Republican do we follow, yu didn't mention the person or where your facts are coming from.

I didn't say, Republicans were less biggoted than anybody, I said less than the over the limit liberals who think it is necessarily to agree with them on everything or be wrong. If you really knew what you were talking about you would realize there are many Redneck Democrats who are the biggoted ones. This isn't a total knock on Rednecks, most would give you the shirt off their backs and I am proud to know a few, but they are racists many times and are normally Democrats.

If you would only get out of your Oakland mindset and venture out of your little world you would understand a bit better.
