the weather looks perfect in these pictures! i was only in oakland a few times and it was usually very foggy and very cold. is the population really less dense than SF?

Oakland is less dense than SF. Lots more parks and more suburban. But there are also really dense areas too. Some of the densest in the region. It just depends on where you are of course.
