But seriously, you are being a bit ridiculous - considering only about 8% of the general population (if I remember correctly) has a master's degree, it's hardly something to sneeze at! And I actually considered going for a PhD, but it's really unecessary in my line of work. I'm only 33 though, probably a bit younger than you, so there's still time if I really wanted to go for that. And if I did get a PhD, I wouldn't brag or put down anyone who had a lower degree... I'm just not that kind of person.

But seriously, you are being a bit ridiculous - considering only about 8% of the general population (if I remember correctly) has a master's degree, it's hardly something to sneeze at! And I actually considered going for a PhD, but it's really unecessary in my line of work. I'm only 33 though, probably a bit younger than you, so there's still time if I really wanted to go for that. And if I did get a PhD, I wouldn't brag or put down anyone who had a lower degree... I'm just not that kind of person.
But why does it matter? People use alcohol solely for recreational purposes, but I don't see you pushing for a return of prohibition. I personally don't drink at ALL, so sue me if I enjoy a joint after a long day of work. What's the big deal?
