Now to address what you said montclair, I heard some rumor that the FBI or someone busted smugglers trying to get crack or some other form of cocaine across the border. Apparently, those smugglers were somehow connected to the CIA

The fact is, those individuals you think are pin up dolls for respectability are yet another PERFECT example of what I've been saying all along.That many Blacks have ascended into the middle and upper class but many are still trying to achieve that.

Asking why all Blacks are not 'responsible' when they've been given opportunities to progress is the same as wondering why all Whites arent Millionaires with advanced degrees considering the centuries of opportunities and preferential treatment they enjoyed.

I never denied that blacks are upwardly moving in many areas. In fact, there are a lot of respectable black professionals whom I have personal relationships with. But that doesn't negate the fact that black communities tend to be full of crime and poverty.

So far, we've gone in circles, with you claiming "slavery explains it, they didn't get a head start like white people." I'm claiming that those individuals who rob, kill, and trash their own communities are not taking ownership for their problems, not some handed down pain from slavery.

Here are all cities of 50,000 or more residents in Nor Cal/the central valley with above-average violent crime rates, ranked by violent crime rate per 100,000 residents (with EPA thrown in for comparison's sake). All cities with black populations that are below the national average (12.3%) are bolded:

San Francisco - 1,024.2 (6.5% black)

For example, two of the cities you mentioned DO have some of the highest black populations (as a percentage) for CA cities, yet one is barely above the national average for violent crime (Fairfield) and the other is well below the national average (Pittsburg). Were you expecting them to be high crime just becuase of their demographics or something? How would you explain the fact that Redding, which is over 80% white, and only 1.4% black, has over twice the violent crime rate as Pittsburg, which is 17.4% black?
