Big Oakland industrial project nabs its first tenant

Quote:
The first new speculative Class A industrial building in Oakland in years has landed its first tenant, with a lease signed Monday to put Benjamin Moore & Co. into 141,844 square feet at the new Goodman Logistics Center to supply the paint company’s Northern California stores.

The company, a unit of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, will relocate its current regional distribution center in Hayward to the new building at 8350 Pardee Drive in Oakland, probably over the next six months or so.

Rosamunde Sausage Grill is opening a Temescal outlet (4659 Telegraph):

Inside Scoop SF » Rosamunde coming to Oakland’s Temescal

This is Rosamunde's second Oakland eatery. The other one is in Swan's Marketplace in Old Oakland. To be honest I don't know what the big deal is. Their sausages are too salty and they take cash only. I guess this solidifies the Temescal District's status as hipster central. Their non-Oakland locations are in the Mission District, The Haight and in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

It's a fun place. Not amazing, but good. There's also nothing else really like that on that stretch of Telegraph other than Lanesplitter, which sucks.

I've been to the one in the Mission too. All in all, pretty 'meh' and overpriced. Their Boudin balls are the only thing I've liked.

I've enjoyed the chicken sausages. Got fries last time i was there and they were awesome and stayed crispy for like 45 minutes.
