You could have fooled me. I thought the whole Bay Area was as blue as it gets. All those places you mentioned are all upscale, high end towns ($1 mil+ homes). I wonder why there are not more middle class conservative places in the Bay Area.

Of course there are conservatives here, but still not in huge numbers - even in those towns you listed. In fact, I know people in most of those places (including my own parents), and they're all liberals.

Maybe it's because the Republican party doesn't really take care of the middle-class?

Right - like the the left wing liberals take care of the middle class Maybe this should be reserved for the "politics and other controverseries" forum.

Why would Michael Savage live here? I can't believe he moved out of Brooklyn (NY).

And even conservatives can have liberal leanings... like liberals can have conservative leanings....

I've never understood the whole "you must fit into box A or Box B" thinking....

You're right, this isn't the place for a political discussion! But to quickly respond, I don't think either party takes care of the "regular people", which is one reason I'm an independent. But obviously I'm liberal-leaning, so Dems are like the lesser of two evils imo. Anyway, let's agree to disagree and drop it, before I have to delete my own posts for being off-topic.

Yes, I agree... see above post for more about my leanings. But there's no denying that liberal is liberal & conservative is conservative, regardless of what "box" we check. Many fall in the middle, but the majority are at least slightly on one side of the fence.
