Question Stockton to Oakland w/ bike

Anyone know what other options are out there. I'd prefer taking my bike to work I rather save my car from the Altamont Pass. So far I know of ACE train to Pleasanton and then BART to Oakland but this usually takes me 2 to 3 hours...

Check out Amtraks San Joaquins route between Stockton and Oakland Amtrak. Or drive from Stockton to Pittsburg's (Hwy 4) BART Baypoint station and take BART the rest of the way. BART - Bay Area Rapid Transit District. I don't think there is any other way.

There are two daily commuter buses from Stockton to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station, that would cut the time down considerably but I don't think they have bike racks.

San Joaquin Commuter > San Joaquin Regional Transit District - San Joaquin RTD

Geez, Thanks for the info. I figured as much. I looked into the Amtrak "San Joaquins" that go from Stockton to Oakland but the earliest they can get me to Oakland is at 11:00AM a bit too late for me.

Thanks anyway
