Default San Francisco (vs) Seattle

Hi - all opinions &/or facts welcome. Need to get a firm grasp on the underlying differences between these two cities. What are the upsides & downsides to each city? Look forward to reading the posts. Thanks in advance!

The first glaring difference is the rainfall and being farther north, it's colder. Seattle has much more rain. Other than that, I haven't been in Seattle enough to really comment on it fairly.
