Hi folks,
Im an aussie heading to San Fran for New Years. Any suggestions as to what I should do? Where I should go? I don't know anyone so I dont want to be a loner on New Years ! Thanks! |

I believe the fireworks and celebrations are on the Embarcadero - northeastern coast.

If your lodging is not in proper SF, I would suggest taking the train. I took it last year from Millbrae to attend the fireworks and festivities.
Mind you, it gets over-crowded and the people sometimes get rowdy. I happened to witness a few fist fights between different groups. Usually you will not have a choice to move once it is near 12.00am since you will have to move where the crowd moves. Hope that helps. |
