If I'm not mistaken it's the the only Spanish-only broadcast station. If the Spanish speaking viewers have no other option then it would stand to reason it'd be number one. There are several English broadcast satations and 3 part time Cantonese as well as many other news shows in several languages. Latinos are a significant portion of the population but they are very under represented when it comes to news shows. English speakers have many more choices. If you were to combine all the English-only news programs as one, they would show a much higher percentage of viewers I'm sure.

Or are you making an entirely different point?

Also the English language only stations news (Channel 5,4,2) are HORRIBLE.
Can't tell you the times Channel 5 has teased a news story that wasn't on there. Used to call them on it all the time till we gave up watching the news...
