Question Mt. Tam and snow
Last winter when I was there, I was sheltered in San Rafael, so didn't notice if Mt. Tam got snow?
How low if any?
That whole majestic beautiful mountain is really nice.

Mt. Tam is 2571 feet above sea level. It's not unusuall for Mt. Tam to get a light dusting of snow once or twice during the winter. The snow usually melts within a couple of hours. Mount Diablo in the east bay and Mt. Hamilton in the south bay sometimes get a little bit of snow also.
