My mom worked for HP 15 years. She was laid off when the merged with Compaq. She use to get raises every 6 months after a review from her supervisor.

onyva4 is on a distinguished road
I worked for HP for 10+ years. Raises are annual, based on annual performance reviews. Raises are based on performance. I have not worked there in a while but they used to range from 3% to 8%, based on performance and based on your current salary (low salary for job category + high performance translates into higher raise).
