Bodega Bay, Sonoma County? (live, restaurant, nightlife)

Hi, We have been looking for coastal properties and came across Bodega Bay. Does anyone here live or vacation in Bodega Bay? What is the weather like? Is it just too cold and foggy or is it nice enough? Thanks!

Hi!

I live near Bodega Bay, I have all my life. Hmmmm, weather is a crap shoot, we have nice warm days but the evenings and night are chilly about 98% of the time. The water is COLD!!! It tends to be very windy as well
It's a beautiful place and has some great beaches. Very crowded in the spring/summer/fall.

LOVE IT! My family spends time there every year. The weather is generally pleasant, you get that marine layer sometimes that hans around all morning, but otherwise pretty nice overall -- never hot, but often pleasant with a light windbreaker. It is becoming more popular so is by no means "undiscovered", but it's a nice place to hit the beach for a walk or jog, hike Bodega Head, hit a local restaurant -- not a lot of nightlife, but a good place to get away just to get outta Dodge ....
