yeah there is a place thats conservative near san francisco.... about five hours south....

I thought that the Sunset district was conservative? did'nt they once hold a straight parade to counter the gay pride parade?

I never heard about that, but the Sunset is slightly more conservative - mostly Chinese families there, and from my experiences living in a Chinese neighborhood (right now), they generally don't care one way or another. But as far as SF goes, the Sunset's probably more on the conservative side of the fence.
