vastlife is on a distinguished road
Default the new apts in Emeryville, worth a look?
There's the ICON, Metropolitan at Bay st and Avenue 64. They all look new - are they in a good area, do they seem worth the money? I am coming up to take a look around and want to know if this area is safe/growing, etc. Any thoughts? thanks.

Despite the supposed 'gentrification' of Emeryville, it's still very unsafe especially at night. I work there and was recently assaulted and robbed.

wow that's interesting considering all the 500k-1mill lofts/condos there...

You just have to know your surroundings. I wouldn't walk around anywhere at night. I live in Emeryville and love it. Very urban setting and close to SF for night life and work and hanging out in Berkeley.
