Randy, could I drop my toddler off at you place and let him crawl up your walls with his muddy boots for a few hours?

Before I had a kid, I would have said sure, I love the rain. Now, though, I don't mind letting him play in it for a little while, but it's too cold out there for me to be playing with worms for too long!

Rain is great for less than 4 days in a row. After that, drag. This is kind of lousy right now because it's been really cold for two weeks previous so we're running out of things to do indoors. That said, winter rain leads to beautiful spring.

I love it for the fact that it gives us even more to send to our neighbors in SoCal. I'm very attracted to the water features that adorn every shopping mall and golf course development in Palm Springs. At least the golf courses use treated wastewater.

I'm sure we haven't gotten as much as you guys up north, but I do like the rain. The few remaining non-paved hillsides in OC are actually green instead of brown. It looks great but sadly, I know it'll mean more fuel for next fire season.

I am in town apt hunting - everything i have with me is soaked through my luggage. And driving around trying to find stuff in this rain is just, well, dismal and difficult. I get lost enough when i CAN see!!

It was a bit nippy. Gotta love that crunchy grass though. It was so pretty coming out in the morning to see frost on the grass and roofs.

Me, too.

I sat in the main lobby of the building I clean just listening to the quiet and drippys.. I had a goofy grin on my face, too....

I know the rain is anoying especially when it has rained all day long none stop, but we need the rain badly, it prevents us from going into another drought then the water gets rationed, I've seen this before.
But the positive side of the rains is that everything will turn green or greener in about less than two weeks, also all the homeless urine and the dog poop will be washed off our dirty streets and sidewalks, the air will be cleaned from pollutian particles, so we start off the first month of the new year with a good wash down.
Thank You Mother Nature!!!!!
